Parenting Skills Workshop

Calling all Parents
Yes, you!

When was the last time you had professional development?

Oh, you’ve heard that parenting isn’t real work?!

Huh!

The definition of work is the expenditure of energy. Parents do this every day

Come along and make an investment in your family life

Alan Webster Consultancies is pleased to invite you to a two day parenting skills program facilitated by Dr. Greta Galloway, a mother who is a social worker and also a professionally trained family therapist. Come and find out what the therapists know, including how to:

  • map the issues that arise and continue to arise in your family
  • map your responses to these issues
  • capture the issues that have previously captured you and learn ways to free yourself and your family from their debilitating influence
  • capture and further grow your parenting strengths
  • understand children’s needs and their behaviours for getting these needs met and
  • recapture the fun and magic of family life through learning and practising new skills.

When:

  1. Greta Galloway, CONGRATULATIONS on your new web site. Family Therapy training is exactly what Cairns needs. The Parenting Skills workshop sounds wonderful - parents in Cairns will benefit greatly and their family life will be wonderfully enhanced.

All these social workers in private practice…it’s about time!

  2. Hi Greta
am looking forward to hearing feedback about this professional development for parents workshop. Parenting skills is sooooooooo important. I had the joy of babysitting my grand daughter today. I am very glad that my parental patience has remained with me :)
